Voices in Democracy emphasizes governance (the power to) vs. government (the power over). Sudents will explore the democratic process and how the values and ideals of citizens shape the model of governances in our Canadian democracy. Further, they will develop an understanding of the active role citizens play in bringing about change through their engagement in the democratic process.
